In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until the beef is brown and the onion is soft.
In a pre-greased 9×13 baking dish, add rice and ground beef. Pour in soups, beef consommé, water and add salt and pepper. Then gently stir until combined.
Then place slices of butter on top of the mixture. Cover with foil and bake it for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes. Then 5 minutes before it’s done, fluff it with a fork and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top let it melt in the oven for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy this tasty casserole!
