In a Dutch oven or large stock pot, add ground beef, Worcestershire Sauce and season the meat. Once the meat is brown, add the diced onion, and green and red bell pepper. Cover and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the veggies are tender.

Then add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and chicken broth (if you don’t have chicken broth you can use water with granulated chicken bouillon). Mix it together, then cover and let it simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes stirring occasionally.

What do you serve with Stuffed Pepper Soup?

Serve with crackers or your favorite warm bread.

Can you make this recipe in a Crockpot?

Stuffed Pepper Soup Crockpot recipe is the same recipe. The only difference is you need to cook the ground beef before adding it to the Crockpot. Then add the rest of the ingredients and let it cook on low for 4 hours. Make the rice according to package directions and add it at the end.

Can you freeze stuffed pepper soup?

If you want to store this soup in the refrigerator or freezer for leftovers, add the rice to each bowl separately when serving instead of the entire pot, as the rice will tend to absorb the liquid in the soup.
