1 Can 12 oz Refrigerated Biscuits
6 Eggs
¼ Cup Milk
½ Tsp. Garlic Salt
½ Tsp. Pepper
1 Lb. Breakfast Sausage
1 Cup Mexican Blend Cheese (shredded)
GRAVY
4 Tbsp. Butter
4 Tbsp. All-purpose Flour
½ Tsp. Pepper
1 Can of Evaporated Milk (or regular milk)
¼ Cup Water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take each biscuit and cut it into 6 pieces each, and place them in the refrigerator to keep cold.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pepper, and garlic salt, then set it aside.
In a skillet on medium heat, brown up the breakfast sausage and then set it aside. In the drippings, add the butter and let it melt. Stir in the flour and cook the flour for 1-2 minutes, then slowly start stirring in the evaporated milk. Continue whisking, adding a little water as you go until you get it thickened to the consistency you are looking for. Then remove it from the heat.
Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Place the biscuit pieces in the dish, then the sausage and egg mixture. Pour the gravy over the top and then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake for 50-55 min until the eggs are thoroughly cooked, and the biscuits are done. Enjoy!
