We love to make these in a Dutch Oven and this recipe is filled with ground beef, bacon, 3 types of beans with a sweet and tangy flavor everyone will love!
INGREDIENTS:
In a Dutch oven on medium heat, add chopped bacon, cook until done, remove with a slotted spoon and set it aside leaving the bacon grease in the Dutch oven.
Add lean ground beef and diced sweet onion cover and let it cook until it’s no longer pink, and the onion is soft. Remove the excess grease then add minced garlic and season the meat.
Add the cooked bacon back into the pot then pour in the baked beans, kidney beans and black beans and mix it together. Then add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Gently combine it thoroughly, cover and let it cook 3 to five more minutes.
Uncover and serve this sweet and tangy side dish with your favorite BBQ and enjoy!
