What you need to make A Slice of Heaven Chocolate Cake:

  • 1 Box Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 (14 oz) Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Cup Caramel Topping (divided)
  • ¼ Cup Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 (8 oz) Tub Whipped Topping
  • 3-4 Snickers bars (chopped)
  • 1 Cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (miniatures)
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter Chips and Chocolate Chips

(Or use any of your favorite candy bars)

How to make A Slice of Heaven Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, add the cake mix, eggs, oil and water and mix it together.

Pre-grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the cake mixture into it. Bake it for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Then remove from oven and let it cool.

Once it cools, using the handle of a wooden spoon or anything about ¼ inch round, poke holes into the cake.

 

In a measuring cup, mix together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup and ¼ cup caramel syrup. Slowly pour and spread evenly over the cake allowing it to soak into the holes.

Frost the cake by spreading a thick layer of whipped topping evenly over the top. Then sprinkle the chopped candy bars and chips over the cake. Drizzle the remaining caramel topping over the candy and cake.
