If you are looking for an amazing casserole that everyone will love, then you need to try this delicious Million Dollar Spaghetti casserole. It has layers of pasta, meat, and cheese, and it’s sure to be new favorite weeknight dish.
Million Dollar Spaghetti ingredients:
Start by Preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Fill a 5 qt. stockpot ¾ full of water and bring it to a boil. Add a teaspoon of salt and the spaghetti. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and toss in 1 Tbsp. of Olive oil, then set it aside.
In a deep skillet on medium heat, add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Once the meat is cooked and no longer pink, add in Italian seasoning and then Spaghetti Sauce. Mix it into the meat, then remove from heat and set it aside.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese, and set aside.
Pre-grease a deep baking dish with 1 Tbsp. of Olive oil, then add 3 large spoonful’s of the meat sauce to the bottom of the baking dish.
Then add a layer of half of the pasta. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the pasta.
Then a layer of the remaining pasta on top of the cream cheese mixture, and spread the remaining meat sauce over the top. Top with 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven uncovered for 30 minutes. Then top with the remaining ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with some grated parmesan cheese. Place back into the oven to bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Serve with some buttery garlic bread and enjoy!
Yes, you can freeze Million Dollar Spaghetti. You may want need to add some more marinara sauce and a little more cheese when you reheat. The pasta tends to absorb the liquid but it still tastes delicious.
