If you love a tender roast in the crockpot, then you will love this easy and delicious recipe for Mississippi Pot Roast. So tender and full of flavor, it will soon become a favorite dinner at your house! 1 Chuck Roast (3 – 4 lbs.) 1 Packet Ranch Seasoning / Dressing Mix 1 Packet Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix 1 Small Jar Pepperoncini Peppers + ( ½ cup juice) 1 Stick Butter (sliced into 6 – 8 pieces) ½ Tsp. Salt ½ Tsp. Pepper ½ Tsp. Garlic Powder
Season both sides of the chuck roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place the roast in a crockpot/slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and beefy onion soup mix over the top of the roast. Then place the slices of butter and about 6 to 8 pepperoncini peppers on top. Pour ½ cup pepperoncini juice in the bottom of the crockpot/slow cooker (no additional water or broth is needed). Cook on high for 6 – 7 hours, or on low for 8 – 10 hours. Serve on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes or rice, and spoon some of the pot roast au jus sauce on top. Mississippi Pot Roast
