A Slice of Heaven Cake

A Slice of Heaven Cake is the perfect chocolate cake indulgence! It’s a combination of rich chocolate cake, luscious whipped topping, and covered your favorite chocolate candy.

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 (14 oz) Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Caramel Topping (divided)
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 (8 oz) Tub Whipped Topping
  • 34 Snickers bars (chopped)
  • 1 Cup Reese’s Peanut Butter cups (miniatures)
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Chips and Chocolate Chips

(Or use any of your favorite candy bars)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, add the cake mix, eggs, oil and water and mix it together.
  3. Pre-grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the cake mixture into it. Bake it for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Then remove from oven and let it cool.
  4. Once it cools, using the handle of a wooden spoon or anything about ¼ inch round, poke holes into the cake.
  5. In a measuring cup, mix together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup and ¼ cup caramel syrup. Slowly pour and spread evenly over the cake allowing it to soak into the holes.
  6. Frost the cake by spreading a thick layer of whipped topping evenly over the top. Then sprinkle the chopped candy bars and chips over the cake. Drizzle the remaining caramel topping over the candy and cake.
  7. Place it into the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours to chill, then enjoy this decadent Slice of Heaven chocolate cake!
